You tried AI for your business and it didn't stick
Almost every owner we talk to has already tried. They opened a chatbot, asked it something about the business, got a few tidy paragraphs that were about businesses in general, and never opened it again. If that's you, the useful thing to know is that the failure was structural, not a sign you used it wrong.

Talk to GlitchThe blank box is the problem, not you
A general chatbot opens as an empty text field and knows nothing. To get an answer worth having, you have to type in the context first: what you sell, who your customers are, what happened last month, what you're actually deciding. That's real work, and you have to do it again tomorrow because it doesn't remember.
So the honest arithmetic of that first attempt is that it took ten minutes of typing to get an answer you could have written yourself. People conclude AI isn't useful for their business. The more accurate conclusion is that AI without your business in it isn't useful, which is a much smaller problem.
It didn't know anything about your business
The gap between a generic answer and a useful one is entirely context. An assistant that can see your orders can tell you what's actually selling. One that can see your payments can tell you what this month really looks like. One that can't do either can only tell you what a business like yours might generally consider, which is the flavor of answer that made you close the tab.
Closing that gap shouldn't be a project. In Glitch you can paste your website address and get back what it noticed about your business in about a minute, before signing up for anything. Connecting the real accounts comes later and each one is a paste box with the exact clicks written above it, checked the second you save so you know it worked.
It lived in a tab nobody opened
Even when the first answer is good, a separate tab is a habit you have to maintain. Your team doesn't have that habit, so the AI becomes one person's private tool, and whatever that person taught it stays with them. When they're busy, it goes unused for a month and then it's just another subscription.
The fix is placement rather than persuasion. When the assistant is in the same chat where the team already talks, an answer lands in the room where everyone sees it, one person's correction sticks for everybody, and nobody has to remember to go somewhere.
Nothing ever happened unless you started it
A chatbot waits. Every useful thing it ever does begins with you deciding to ask, which means the value is capped by your attention on your busiest days, exactly when you'd most want the help. That's why the tool feels good in week one and irrelevant by week four.
The difference worth looking for is whether anything arrives without you asking. In Glitch, work can run on a schedule and post its result into the channel, and owners and admins get a daily digest of what ran, what it cost, what failed, and what to do next. When the assistant shows up on its own, it stops depending on your memory.
What it looks like when it does stick
You stop starting conversations and start reading results. A report you didn't ask for is already in the channel. A follow up you'd have written at 11pm is drafted and waiting for your yes. A question you'd have answered by building a spreadsheet is answered from your own numbers instead.
The other marker is that other people use it. If your bookkeeper and your part-timer are getting answers without asking you first, it stuck. If it's still just your tab, it hasn't, whatever the tool is.
How to retest it in an afternoon
Don't start with a strategy. Take one thing you did last week that you resented doing, and hand over exactly that. The chat on our home page works with no signup, so the test costs you nothing but the time to describe the task honestly.
Then check the one thing that predicts whether it lasts: did anything useful show up without you starting it? That's the honest bar, and it's the one a first attempt with a chatbot almost never clears.
Common questions
Is this just a better chatbot?
The model underneath is similar technology. What's different is what surrounds it: standing context about your business, a place in the team's chat rather than a private tab, and work that runs on a schedule instead of waiting to be asked. Those three are what made the first attempt fail, so those three are what changes.
Do I have to connect my accounts to see if it's useful?
No. Paste your website address and it reads the public site and comes back with what it noticed, which is enough to judge whether it understands a business like yours. Connecting real accounts makes it sharper, and it's your call when.
What if my team won't use it either?
That's the right worry, and it's mostly about placement. Adoption usually fails when the AI lives somewhere people don't already go. Putting it in the chat the team already uses, where answers are visible to the room, is what makes it a shared habit rather than one person's tool.
Won't this cost more than the chatbot I stopped using?
Pricing is flat by tier from $99 a month for the whole team, not per person, and you can start free without a card. Per-seat pricing is one of the quieter reasons AI stalls in small teams, because every extra person becomes a billing decision.
