An AI teammate for a small ecommerce team
Running a small store means being five people before lunch: merchandiser, marketer, bookkeeper, support desk, and whoever checks why yesterday dipped. An AI teammate doesn't replace any of those hats. It sits in your team chat wearing all of them at once, connected to the store itself, so the checking, drafting, and reporting stop landing on you first.

Talk to GlitchA chatbot answers questions. A teammate knows your store.
A generic AI chat can tell you what a good abandoned cart email looks like. It can't tell you what your abandoned carts did last week, because it can't see them. The difference between a chatbot and a teammate is connection: a teammate reads your actual products, orders, revenue, and spend, and answers about your business instead of businesses in general.
That's the whole test worth applying to any AI tool for commerce. If it can't see the store, every answer starts with you typing in the context it should already have.
Start by letting it read the store
The first step doesn't need any setup at all: paste your store's web address into the chat and Glitch reads the public site and comes back with a starter radar, the things worth attention it can see from the outside, in about a minute.
Connecting Shopify goes deeper. You create a token in your Shopify admin, a few clicks with the exact steps shown next to the paste box, and you pick the scopes yourself, so it starts as read only if that's what you grant. The moment the key saves, Glitch checks it works and tells you what it just learned, by name. From then on it can answer from real products and orders instead of guesses.
The money picture, every morning
Connect Stripe and Glitch reads your balance and recent charges daily, so questions like how did this week actually do get answered from the source. Connect your ad accounts and spend gets pulled into the same picture, which is where small stores usually find their surprises.
All of it feeds a daily digest to your inbox: what moved, what it noticed, what it did. The point isn't another dashboard to check. It's that the checking happens without you, and the result reads like a note from a person.
The work it takes off your plate
Lifecycle email runs through Klaviyo once connected. Campaign drafts for Meta, TikTok, or Google publish in a paused state, so nothing spends a dollar until you look at it and turn it on. If you sell print on demand, a Printful connection fulfills orders as they come in.
The pattern across all of it is the same: Glitch does the assembling and drafting, and the irreversible steps wait for a human. You stay the owner. You stop being the bottleneck.
What it costs a small team
You can try all of this before signing up: the chat on the home page works without an account, and signing up is free with no card. Paid plans are one flat monthly price for the whole team, so adding your virtual assistant, your co-founder, and your part-time bookkeeper to the workspace doesn't change the bill.
There's no developer step anywhere in this. Every connection is a paste box with the exact clicks written above it, built for an owner who has never touched an API and doesn't want to.
Common questions
Does it need a developer to set up?
No. Connections are paste boxes with numbered steps above them, written for a non-technical owner. The Shopify one walks you through creating a token in your admin, click by click, and the key is checked the moment you save it.
Can it change my store without asking?
Only within the access you grant. You choose the Shopify scopes yourself when you create the token, so it can start read only. Ad campaigns it prepares are published paused and spend nothing until you activate them.
What does it do on day one, before any connections?
Paste your store's address into the chat and it reads the public site and returns a starter radar in about a minute. Connections deepen the picture, but the first useful answer doesn't wait for them.
Does the price go up as my team grows?
No. Plans are flat monthly prices for the whole team, not per seat. The plans differ in how much of Glitch's work is included each month, and extra work costs exactly what it costs us.
